
4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
½ cup butter (softened!)
½ cup shortening
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla

Beat butter and shortening with a mixer until light and fluffy.

Beat in vanilla.

Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, starting on low speed and then beating well on medium. Scrape the sides and bottom as necessary.
