 4 ½ cups Packed Brown Sugar
 ½ cup Butter
 1 cup Evaporated Milk
 ¼ tsp Salt
 1 tsp Vanilla

In a sauce pan mix together brown sugar, butter,evaporated milk and salt. Stir while it cooks on medium heat until it dissolves. Continue to cook until it forms a soft ball (235 degrees F). Remove from stove and let stand until lukewarm. Add the vanilla and beat until mixture is thick and dull. Pour into greased 8 inch square pan and cool. Store in the refrigerator.
