
Line a 12 by 18 by 2 inch pan with parchment paper. To make the crust, combine butter and sugar until thoroughly mixed. Blend in the flour. Roll dough out in the pan using a small hand roller, prick dough with a toothpick. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25 minutes. Remove pan from oven.
To make the lemon filling blend eggs until light and fluffy, add sugar. Mix in lemon juice and lemon zest. Add baking powder and flour and blend until smooth. Pour lemon filling over the crust and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes. Once out of the oven, cool completely then sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. Slice into squares. It makes about 60 squares.
