Amish Clothespin Cookies

 3 Packages of Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
 2 lbs Powdered Sugar
 2 cups Crisco
 1 tsp Vanilla
 ¾ cup Milk
 7 oz Marshmallow Cream

Preheat over to 450 degrees F. Roll out thawed pastry on a lightly floured surface into a 12 by 12 inch rectangle. Cut into one half inch by six inch long strips using a pizza cutter. Wrap each strip around a clothes pin that has been moistened slightly with water over lapping the edges slightly.

Bake for five minutes. Then turn oven down to 375 degrees F and bake for 10 more minutes. Carefully remove the clothespin and cool completely on a wire rack.

Beat together sugar, shortening, vanilla and milk for ten minutes. Add marshmallow cream and beat until combined. Use a pastry bag to pipe filling into the cool clothespin cookies. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. Store in an air tight container. Cookies are best if refrigerated and may be frozen. It makes 24 cookies.
