Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large baking dish, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, oil, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix in the chicken pieces, until well coated. Bake, uncovered in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and flip chicken pieces over and baste with the sauce and bake another ten minutes or until it’s 165 degrees as measured by a thermometer.
