Combine butter, egg, sugar, milk in a sauce pan and boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add nuts, coconut and graham cracker crumbs.
Line ungreased 9 by 13 pan with whole graham crackers and spread filling over crackers and cover with another layer of whole graham crackers.
To make the icing, mix butter, milk, vanilla then add powdered sugar and spread over the graham crackers and chill. Cut into bars after chilled.
