• There are 16 chapters: Chapter 1-Conversion Chart and Direction page (print version only); 2-Appetizers & Drinks; 3-Breakfast & Brunch; 4-Breads; 5-Soups & Salads; 6-Sauces, Spreads & Gravy; 7-Meats; 8-Poultry; 9-Seafood; 10-Slow Cooker & Casseroles; 11-Pasta & Rice; Fruits & Veggies; 13-Pies & Pastries; 14-Cakes, Frosting & Cheesecakes; 15-Cookies & Bars and 16-Desserts

• Please enter your recipe in the “My Fitness Pal” app to get your servings size (if it is not specified) and calorie count

• The By line is a credit to the person you received the recipe from or you if it is your recipe. Please use a name not a recipe book or Facebook notation. For example- Janie Krahe, not aunt Janie or Katherine Lippert-not grandma or you if it’s something you found in a magazine, etc.

• Remember to take a picture of your recipe and add your photo to the recipe page

• How to add a new recipe: Select the chapter you want the recipe to appear in, on the top left click the “+” sign to add a recipe in that section. When you add the recipe title you will need to add it at the top of the recipe page AND you will also need to add the recipe title on the left side, click on the small recipe where it says untitled and add the title there too. If you do not do this it will not be listed in the table of contents.

• What to do if your directions or ingredients do not fit on one page: To add a second page to your recipe go to the “+” at the top of the computer, go to page and you click on default. It will link the page with your recipe. It will be a blank page so you will need to add a text box by clicking on the “T” or text box icon. Enlarge your text box, double click inside of the text box and finish your recipe. Notify Josh if you went onto an additional page and he will log in to style that page so it is uniform throughout the book.
